World's Best Company
Whilst Palisades put up a noble fight, for the second year in a row ToyBiz topped your votes. With lines such as Legends and the Classics, as well as Lord of the Rings, many of you felt that the number of great lines coming from them, caused them to deserve your vote.
Winner: ToyBiz
Honorable Mentions: Palisades, Sideshow, McFarlane
World's Best Line
Again, this appeared to be a repeat of last year, with Muppets and Marvel Legends slogging it out between each other. As I saw the votes come in, I thought one line was starting to lead over the other, only for a spate of votes to come in to even up the tally. In the end, by a very small margin, only one would reign victorious, and unlike last year (where Muppets only just beat Marvel Legends) the roles were reversed, and Marvel Legends came out on top.
Winner: Marvel Legends by ToyBiz
Honorable Mentions: Muppets by Palisades, Hellraiser by NECA
World's Best Figure or Playset
This is always the toughest category with the widest number of nominations, but it became clear early on who would win as they gained and then retained the largest lead in any of the categories. In truth there were a number of great figures & Playsets this year, but I think the winner was something we're unlikely to see the like of for a long time to come.
Winner: Muppets Swedish Chef's Kitchen Playset by Palisades
Honorable Mentions: Wet Suit Lara Croft by SOTA Toys, Superman by DC Direct
World's Best Bust or Statue
The fewest number of votes from all categories but second only to best Figure or Playset in the number of nominations. However in the end, one statue broke out from the crowd and ran to an early lead, which the maintained until the end of the voting period.
Winner: Jim Lee Batman Statue by DC Direct
World Most Anticipated Line
We get a lot of votes for continuation of lines in this category, but this year we see a new line win it. It's no wonder in some respects as you guys have been going nuts about it since it was first announced
Winner: Hush by DC Direct
Honorable Mentions: Marvel Legends by ToyBiz, Muppets by Palisades, Hellboy by Mezco
